Found a house for sale in Ardskeag Beg Corofin Galway
Haven't found it on a map yet.
I'd say it's the same place just the g missing from the end.

Roger posted while I was searching.
So looks good

Google maps don't appear to have it but you can find it on GeoHive
http://map.geohive.ie/
Use Base Information and Mapping to see the old maps
Use the spelling with the g to search but the g isn't on the old maps only on the House of the same name.

Any relation to Frankie Gavin (Corrandulla, 1956)  an Irish violinist and flautist??

Biography In the seventies he was among the founding members of the group of folk and Celtic music De Dannan. At only 15, he won both the fiddle (violin) and tin whistle (irish flute) championships. It is famous for its speed of execution and for its virtuosity typical of the Galway school. In addition to the De Dannan, Gavin is very active in collaborations with several important musicians of the international folk and rock scene.
