And from the information that my Auntie gave me a William and Jackie??

Am not sure if 'Jackie' is male or female

Have looked on all the usual sources, Free BMD, census records etc etc but have not found a thing

See above posts for a likely birth and death for William plus him on the 1901 census age 9.

No Jackie so far - what information exactly did Auntie give you?

2 children have died before 1911 - William fits the bill for one of them.

There's a gap between

Bertie 7 and

Lydia 2 so maybe another child was born between them between 1895-1898

There's a John born Jun 1896 Shardlow district mothers name Dixon

And a death in Sep 1899 age 3

Maybe John was known as Jack or Jackie

"Berton" is actually Bertie on the census image and seems to have been mistranscribed as Berton)

these seem to be the children of William and Alice (and possible marriages and deaths for them)
