Help to identify wife of John Bannister b.1797

Jane’s age at death in 1849 was recorded as 45 (and she couldn’t be much older than that if still childbearing).

If she was born abt 1804*, are you sure she was the mother of Woodhurst b 1817?

I see a baptism of Eliza Cherry Bannister (Fletching, 1816) to John and Mary, so perhaps Jane was a second wife for John?

*Edit: I now see that Jane Langridge was baptised at Fletching 14 Aug 1803, dau of George & Jane.

Hi AVM, thanks for that, I had wondered about the age of the first children, but haven't got details of another wife, but certainly sounds possible. Are there details of John marrying a Mary that you've found?

No marriages found as yet, but there’s a Frederick Avery Bannister baptised 17 Oct 1813 at Fletching to parents John & Mary.

I don’t know where you’ll Fletching marriages online (if at all).
