Many thanks to all who responded.
We have identified Margaret and Megan Ll-G but not the others.
I think we've pretty well ruled out any of my family, although I don't have a contemporary picture of Howel, only ones a few years earlier or later.
As suggested by Cati and Nestagj I have sent a copy on to the museum, via Nesta, to see what they can make of it.
And thanks to Hanes teulu for the Cambrian links. I had the obit but not the report of nomination, which has some really good detail. For some reason it hasn't come up when I've searched the paper before, sometimes you just have to ask the question the right way !
