Checking the menu at the top of the page (below the header) -:

HOME    FORUM    HELP    SEARCH    PROFILE    MY MESSAGES    CALENDAR   CHAT

I see the correct header and the graphic on all pages except the HOME page and the HELP page (where I see no graphic and the headings are listed down the left side of the page).

(just in case anyone can help fix this) :)

It no longer works properly with older versions of Internet Explorer, which I daren't update as I'm still using Windows XP.  It does work for me with Firefox.

There's an old adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".  It seems that these days everybody has an urge to tinker with things that work, just for the hell of it.

I don't have the problem viewing from here, but clearly some of you are having a problem so I can look into it. We've moved RootsChat over to use the more secure "https" way of delivering pages to your browser.

I need some help from those of you who are having problems to give me a bit more information to help me try and see what the problem may be:

Am I right in thinking that this problem only occurs on the "Home" page and the "Help" pages?

Are the rest of the forum pages (these topics and posts) are looking correctly?

What operating system are you using (eg, Windows) and what version is it (eg Windows XP, Widows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10) or are you viewing it on a tablet (what sort of tablet is it) or a mobile.

Do you know what sort of browser you are using (eg Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc) and do you know what version it is (you might find it under 'About' in the menu of the browser).

When you see this problem are you normally logged in (in other words, do you see your username at the top or the word "Guest")?

What is the actual address that you see in the address bar? Does it start with "http://" or "https://" (with the extra "s")?

Don't worry if you don't know all of this, but if you can give me as much as you can please, then that would be really very helpful.

Many thanks,
Trystan

Hi Trystan
Had the Rootschat home page display incorrectly yesterday 28 Oct at about 5pm - everything else fine. Turned on today at 8am and everything fine.
I use Windows 10 on a PC, Firefox 63.0 (64-bit), logged into Rootschat.com    and my thanks to you and Sarah for a great website. It is one of the first sites I go to each morning.
