Alexandra Terrace at Swanley Junction
« on: Sunday 28 October 18 14:08 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help please with information on resident records Alexandra Terrace at Swanley Junction, Kent between 1900 and 1903. Via her daughter's birth certificate, I have traced my great grandmother Isabella Howell to 9 Alexandra Terrace, Swanley Junction (as it was then called) but can find nothing on census or electoral records.
Thx all

There is an advertisement in July 1918 for the sale of 24 cottages on Alexandra Terrace, Castle Road, Swanley Junction.

Thx, I am guessing this was probably when they were all pulled down, the turn of last century maps bear no resemblance, except the railway, to the turn of, this century. The local historical society have been helpful about the area but still struggling to see how she lived “off grid” for a few years, especially as this was census year (1901)

You can see the Jam Factory on this map https://www.old-maps.co.uk/#/Map/551485/168309/12/101095 opposite Alexandra Road. Now called Bevan Place.
If necessary change the zoom level with the + - in the top left corner.
