Leominster place name - COMPLETED
« on: Sunday 28 October 18 15:28 GMT (UK) »
Hello  :)
James Price born 1781 gives his place of birth in the 1861 census as "Herefordshire, Leominster, ??"
Please can anyone help read the last place name - I have attached a snip
The census reference is:
RG09 4225 Folio 34 Page 27

For reference - in 1851, he also gives his place of birth as Herefordshire. The enumerator has then written Chostry ? - HO107 2491 Folio 301 Page 14
Thanks for your help

Thanks both
I'm more used to searching in Breconshire and Glamorgan, so this is new ground to me.
Cholstrey seems like a good mix of the census transcriptions of Chostry and Chilstree
