I will have a wander round All Saints churchyard first as it's quite small.
Some burials in Great Ayton parish registers which seem to fit are
Robert Wright, 20 years 15 Jan 1813
James Wright, 15 years 6 Sep 1815
William Wright, 65 years 6 Mar 1854
John Wright, 86 years 18 Sep 1863
All have abode as Ayton except William whose abode is Langbarugh (sic) Langbaurgh Hall, Langbaurgh Farm and associated buildings is on the outskirts of the village.
These two later burials are probably in the cemetery which is somewhat larger than the graveyard!
Don't hold your breath but I will get back to you with a yay or nay :)

I definitely won't be holding my breath!  ;D

Thank you for the further info. I'll keep my fingers crossed for some sign of Wrights!

Spent a pleasant hour searching All Saints graveyard this afternoon. Unfortunately, as suspected no Wright headstones.

Thank you for taking the time to do this, I really appreciate it.  It's a shame that there are no reminders of any of the family. I need to find ancestors who were more wealthy!!
