'Marriage Locator' records that the 1908 marriage was at St James, Benwell.

http://www.marriage-locator.co.uk/cgi-bin/ML_search.cgi?year=1908&qtr=4&vol=10b&page=3&search=search

'Marriage Locator' records that Elijah's marriage was at St Andrew, Newcastle upon Tyne.

http://www.marriage-locator.co.uk/cgi-bin/ML_search.cgi?test=&year=1863&qtr=4&vol=10b&page=52&search=search

If you or anyone else don't beat me to it I could look up these marriages the next time I can get to the Archives.  Might not get there for a few weeks though due to shifts.

Hi Steve, here is the 1908 marriage .. will be looking up the 1863 marriage next ..  incidentally, on marriage locator I put in the wrong quarter initially but this 1908 marriage still took place at St James Benwell.

Many thank's RTL,I think the mystery deepen's,we never found the death for Elijah Wayman sarah's
father we know he died between the 1871 and 1881 cencus the only near "hit" was Edward Wayman
died 1878  in Newcastle so we assume he used Edward instead of Elijah,on Sarah's marriage cert toWilliam
Kirton he is named as Elijah occupation Barman! The St Andrew's marriage is a definite, the Wayman's
were originally from Littleport Cambs. and Green's from Lincoln.
