Rowland THWAITE and family
« on: Monday 29 October 18 09:33 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to trace the family of Rowland Thwaite bapt 1719 in Askrigg.

His parents were James THWAITE and Sarah HARTLEY.

And James parents were I believe Christopher THWAITE and Mary ROWLAND.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

My Rowland was bapt 3 Oct 1719 Askrigg to James.

James married Sarah HARTLEY in 1718 in Sedbergh and was born c1686.   He had a brother Simon born in 1687 in Askrigg,  Their parents were Christopher THWAITE and Mary ROWLAND (which is where Rowland got his first name from and which continued down in the family as a first and middle name).
