Austin Bedford Woodgate DSO, MC

Austin Woodgate was temp Captain in the MG Corps in the 1920s. In 1927 he sailed from Bombay back to England. I suspect he was with the MG Corps and Royal Tank Corps in India. In 1939 he was Quartermaster Royal Tank Regiment in England.
My question is where do I find inter-war records of his service in India?

His army records will still be with the MoD - you can apply for a copy https://www.gov.uk/guidance/request-records-of-deceased-service-personnel

I think the middle name is Bradford, not Bedford.
