So they are in the 1851 and 1861 censuses in Middlesex. So if he did die it was after 1861
Have you tried following his many siblings to see if he was with any of them at various times?
1861  RG 9 Piece 156 Folio 47 Page 24
West Hackney
William B Rogerson 62 retired merchant Ireland
Ann J Rogerson    54  Ireland
Emily F Rogerson 29 Governess  Ireland
Florence Rogerson 20  Ireland
George N Rogerson 14 Clerk in railway office Liverpool
Henry Newgam    28 chymist (chemist?) boarder Lincolnshire
Catherine Connor 35 general servant ireland

I see William Bell Rogerson died in 1877 Bangor Wales, but I can't find him in 1871 either.
Ann died 1864 St George Hanover Square

Would this be George's birth?

George Nugent Ippersiel/Ippersal Rogerson
q3 1846 West Derby, Lancs
Vol 20 Page 1095
Mother's maiden name - McGill

What is the last sighting you have of George?
