church records

Would the name of the groom's father be on the Bishops Transcripts of the Parish of New Moat from 1810 to 1811? and if so how can I access the B.T?

My three times gt. Grandfather John Davies married there at the parish church of St. Nicholas in 1810, I understand that the serivice was conducted by J. Harris.   My ancestor's name was John Davies so you can imagine how difficult it is to trace anyone with the Davies surname let alone the very common name of John, but I am trying to find out just who is father was.  Any help would be appreciated.
