If you look on www.familysearch.org, you will find some information on your brothers.  Looks like George Rose Dawson was born 22 Jul 1887, Aberdeen, Scotland, according to his WWI draft registration card.  Also, the draft cards were mandatory, but service in the military did not necessarily follow.  Looks like he was in St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota for the draft registration card.  (I just looked at the 1920 census and it states DAKOTA co., but apparently that has since been changed to RAMSEY.) The 1920 census also states that he immigrated in 1917 and was a soldier by 1918, although there is a border crossing of George Rose Dawson in 1910.  The 1930 census shows him with wife, Davina, and family in Detroit, Michigan. There is a Texas WWI entry on familysearch, but it doesn't appear to be showing up, at the moment.
[this appears to be the wrong George Dawson:  marriage in Canada to Davina Drybrough states his parents as Duncan Dawson and Jeanette Dunbar]

Archibald shows up on the Draft Registration Card in Fond du Lac County, Wiscconsin.  He states his nearest relative as Archie Reid of Janesville, Wisconsin.  His WWII draft registration card has him married to Christina and living in  St. Paul.  He states he was born 7 Dec 1882 in Aberdeen.

It doesn't appear Archibald served in the military in WWI.

Here is his WWI draft registration card. All males of a certain age were required to register, but that doesn't mean they actually served.

In the 1930 census there is a  question asking if you were a veteran of US military or naval forces and what war. He answered NO.

See columns 30 &31 on census.

This may be the George Dawson being referred too who died in Pennsylvania in the 1960's. Father's name is George, born in Scotland, DOB 1885.

DC: http://www.rootschat.com/links/01mxo/

The DC states his usual place of residence was Camden County, New Jersey. This appears to be him in the following records. Censuses state he immigrated in 1910, but it appears he lived in Canada for a short bit.

His wife's name was Susan Ogg according to daughters birth record. This appears to her immigrating to Canada in 1907. I assume her and George married there, had son George W there and then immigrated to Massachusetts.

Susan Ogg Passenger list: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2H2F-K6S

The 1938 passenger list (below) states George was naturalized 25 Mar 1918 in Bristol Co., Massachusetts. Perhaps those papers (record) would give more to detail and if he is the right George Dawson.

1920 census: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MNMT-2X8

1930 census: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X4DM-Z5J

Here is George with the 3 children from the censuses on a passenger list in 1938. I don't see wife Susan (nee:Ogg) listed. Did she die?

Passenger list: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:242N-NPM

George apears to be married to a Dorothy in 1940.
