In case you don't have it, here is the obit for Archibald's daughter Elizabeth who died 31 Dec. 1977.

In her obit it mentions an uncle Alex Dawson  of Green Bay, WI.

Could this be him?

He is heading to his brother in  Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

Now back on the case!
Many thanks for all these useful contributions.
I can now confirm that both Archibald and George were born in Muiravonside, Stirling. Scotland
Archibald born 7 Dec 1883 and George born 5 April 1885 to parents George Dawson and Janet Waddell.
George Rose Dawson born Aberdeen a different George Dawson to mine.
However, lets press on with the quest!

The OP started another thread looking for evidence of service in the Great War for Archibald Waddell Dawson  but gave a different birth date (18 July 1883) and same parents which seems rather strange, unless of course this one was not the correct one.  ???
