Looking for information on Louisa Williams born 1843 Portsea Hampshire. Father James W Williams. Mother Harriet Burne. I would like any marriage details etc. Many thanks for your help

There are three possible marriages on FreeBMD 1864/1871 -this one is Louisa Jane and 1873. Regards.

GRO online search shows her birth was registered in Portsea as Williams, Louisa in 1st Quarter of 1845 and her mother's maiden is BURNES - GRO ref Volume 07  Page 134.

Via Free BMD there is a Louisa Williams marrying James Henry Kidd in Portsea in 3rd Quarter of 1863 and then again via the GRO there is a daughter Louisa Kidd with mother's maiden name of Williams registered in Portsea in the 4th Quarter of 1865 - GRO ref Volume 02B  Page 441. It might be worth your while to get an online PDF copy of the marriage certificate to prove this wedding. Via the GRO website this will cost £6.00.

There are other Kidd children born after 1865 with a mother's maiden name of Williams who might be of interest to you and these can be seen for free online via the GRO website.

I don't think it's the one who married James Henry KIDD.
That Louisa appears on the 1851 and 1861 census with her mother,Mary and siblings in Portsea.
When Mary dies in 1868 the executrix is Louisa KIDD (daughter, wife of James Henry KIDD).

"Your" Louisa was born in 1845,not 1843.

Louisa Kidd b c 1865 is shown as Niece to a Thomas & Charlotte Williams in 1871

So definitely not 'your' Louisa.

Many thanks for all the replies. Additional info. Louisa's parents were resident in Portsea 1861 and Farnham Sussex 1871, then Portsea in 1881.
