Robert Prideaux and Elizabeth Rafferty
« on: Friday 02 November 18 10:03 GMT (UK) »
Robert Prideaux married Elizabeth Rafferty (daughter of James Rafferty and Bridget McCabe).
Elizabeth was born 1861 (probably Co Fermanagh) and died on the 4th November 1953 in Clones, Co Monaghan.
I have been unable to find a marriage for Robert Prideaux and Elizabeth, a birth for either or a death for Robert.
The only fact I know is that Robert had died before 1953.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Phil

You probably had that Cert but didn't say!

Much easier if you post things so people can look at them and see details!

Clonmackin, Newtownbutler  is this where they lived??

Or have you look for where the Townland on Cert is??

Hi Hallmark - the Rafferty family were in Clonmackin. We cannot find Robert and Elizabeth in any census. The only reference is the fact she bought a headstone for her parents in Sacred Heart Cemetery and that she died in Clones (on the certificate).

I'm wondering if they lived over the border!
