One more snippet:

Arthur Beckett (Aged 25 - Garage Man) living at 122 Denton Street married Doris Wragg (Aged 27) on December 24th 1928 at St Leonard's Church, Leicester. Arthur's father is recorded as Harry Beckett (deceased)

This Harry Beckett (aged 19 years) married Elizabeth Osborne (aged 21 years) on May 25th 1901 at St Matthews Church, Leicester. He was an Iron monger - Father Charles John Jack Becket in the shoe trade.

1901 census shows this Beckett family living at 24 Hart Road, Leicester. The head - John C Beckett came from Ely in Cambridgeshire. 18 year old Harry was employed as a tin plater.

Was Harry Beckett a WWI Casualty?
