Wonder if this is the Drummond’s on the 1841 and 1851?:

282/ 61/ 5 Dundee Angus

John 54
Agnes 60
John 25
Catherine 16

282/ 48/ 31 Dundee Angus

John 64
Agnes 70

The age fits for Agnes on the 1861 at daughter’s:

282/2 10/ 39 Dundee Second District Angus
STIRTON Agnes 80

John Drummond’s death?:

DRUMMOND John 75 mmn ANDERSON 1862 282/1 111 Dundee First District

I can’t pin down a death for Agnes.

Jamjar
Atkinson; Badier; Cameron; Grant; Howie; Jardine; Jenkins; Kerr; Lawardorn; Lee; Linton; Lonie; McConnell; Morgan; Morrison; Murphy; O'Leary; Paton; Pratt; Robb; Williams

Have you done anything about getting the death certificate ? That is the only way you will find out who his parents are  ::)

How do you know he was born in 1826? You are taking age information from the census which was taken in April. Someone born in May 1825 ( as the John found by Jamjar was) would show as the same age as someone born early 1826.
