Marriage of George NORRIS to Charity NORRIS 1791 at Meare

A George NORRIS married a Charity NORRIS 27th Dec 1791 at St Mary, Meare Parish Church.  Does anyone know their parents?  A Henry & Charity NORRIS had a son George and a daughter Charity christened in the 1760s at Meare but unless incest took place which one got married in 1791?

Was the bride in 1791 a spinster or widow when she married do you know?

I cannot see any children to this marriage, but there are a couple of births in mere to a George and Ann in the 1790s, no corresponding marriage tho’

Meare is near to the border of Wiltshire where there are buckets of Norrises.

Oops, there is a meare in Somerset, near Glastonbury,I have the wrong place

Thanks for your suggestions.  The marriage entry does not say whether either had been married before.  Meare is the place near Glastonbury and I have found 5 children baptised between 1792 and 1801 - Henry, George, Charity, James and Betty.

I see your problem!! On the marriage banns it gives George Norris from Edington, Charity from Meare. It looks as if they may have had children George baptised at Edington 1794 and a daughter Charity baptised in 1796, maybe others?
