I think I would go for B M Guigan - Ballymaguigan.

Click on each civil parish and it will give you a list of townlands
https://www.johngrenham.com/places/civil_in_rc.php?churchid=0230&county=&church_name=Magherafelt

To find this list of Civil Parishes in each RC parish use the link to Irish Ancestors on the main page of each parish.

Thank you, I was trying to find it on the Irish Ancestors site itself.

Well, neither Ballylagan nor Ballymaguigan are in Magherafelt Catholic Parish.
Maybe  Ballymoghan Beg or  Ballymoghan More, both of which are in the parish.

Are you referring to the Civil Parish or the Catholic Parish?

Couple of things to keep in mind.
There is a cross over into surrounded RC parishes of some of the civil parishes in Magherafelt RC.
People would have gone to the nearest church, so it is quite possible to have people from Townlands attending church in a parish their townland doesn't belong to.
Don't got too caught up with boundary lines.
Also some townland names have been lost over time.

Looking at sponsors surnames etc, e.g Bateson, there is at least one civil marriage - much later - where Ballymaguigan is the residence and the Catholic Chapel of Magherafelt is the marriage place.

The civil parish is Artrea.

OK, I'm going to take a look at where all of these are later today. It's still early here, US Eastern time, and I'm just getting going.

I didn't think of looking at the sponsors for clues. Maybe Ballymaguigan is close enough for them to go into Magherafelt parish for the baptism, as Sinann pointed out.
And the writing does look more like Ballymaguigan than what I said.

The link I gave you states that Ballymaguigan was part of Magherafelt Parish until 1990s.
It is quite close.
