Lathan?? Bibbey??

The 1891 census on Familysearch shows Lathan Bibbey, aged 23, footman of Kensington.
Should it say Nathan and is the surname correct?

It could say Lathan or Lalhan or Lashan. Definitely an L though

Only birth using ‘similar sounding variations’ on surname and christian names 1868+-2 give each nothing for an L and one for Nathan:

Thanks everyone. I did a Google search and apparently Lathan is a valid Christian name (and surname) and is reminiscent of Nathan. However, I cannot find any other reference to him as a Bibby.
If he's a Beeby then he's not my clan so I think I will ignore him.
