If this error is on the new copy, then ring the GRO and ask them for advice?
(assuming you ordered through the GRO).

If you ordered through the relevant Register Office, they take it back to them.

Not sure what the problem is,you needed a new cert, the cert came and all is correct?

Would seem as though whoever typed out the note to come with it,mucked up on the date.

Any piece of paper that came with the certificate is meaningless?

It's what's on the certificate that's important.

ill ring them tomorrow .

Why waste your time? As Carol and KG have said, the date on the certificate is correct and that is all that matters.

Absolutely but on GRO site when filling out the form it asks for DOR seems abit odd putting the date as two weeks before the child was born .

DOR? How can they expect you to remember the date you registered your child's birth?  :-\
