William McLaughlin (of the Grange) and Sarah McErlean(of Drumraymon)
« on: Monday 05 November 18 10:49 GMT (UK) »
From scraps of family information I have I know:
1. Thomas McArlailaine* or McErlaine, a farmer, married Rebecca McAllister about 1820 ?? in Ireland. About 1823?? Sarah, their daughter was born
2. Alexander McLauchlan, “a agricultural Labourer”, married Sarah Mc Kane about 1820?? In Dunean, Ireland. About 1820 William, their son was born.
3. William Mc Laughlin (or Mclaughlan) and Sarah McErlean were married and had children.
I hold a scrap of paper stating:
" Catholic Church (now our lady of Lourdes)
Parish of Dunane, Money Glass. Co. Antrim
Family of William McLaughlin (of the Grange) & Sarah McErlean (McLean) Drumraymon, both near Toome (or Toombridge) Co. Antrim, Ireland."

Can anyone help me with finding out more about my forebears, when and where they were born, lived and if there are documents to be found. All information and links to documents are more than welcome.

Thank you

Thank you for sending me the link of the churchbook as from 1834. I have found some very interesting documents, which will help me further.
Is there a way to go furher back than 1834?
