Paying for an Ancestry sub and they aren't helping me  ???


Arthur Best (1892)


he appears on FindmyPast for 1939 with his wife Emily in Leeds but does not appear on Ancestry's 1939

Very annoying

Always be prepared for mis-transcriptions.

Arthur Dest.

Easily found simply searching for Arthur born 1892 (no surname) in Leeds with spouse Emily.

All Census Look Ups Are Crown Copyright from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Also try looking for another member of the family - I found the family by looking for his son.

Thankyou guys.

It has taken me nearly a week of contact with Ancestry support 'experts' and even emails to their proper support and they still havn't figured out what you guys did in 10 minutes  ::)

If you find someone on one site but not on the other, a good trick is to look for someone else on the same page with a surname that is clear and less liable for mistranscription and then search for them on the site you are having the problem with. That should then find you the correct page.
