Actually it was only about 3 minutes, the extra minute being the time it took me to write the reply on my ipad

If you find someone on one site but not on the other, a good trick is to look for someone else on the same page with a surname that is clear and less liable for mistranscription and then search for them on the site you are having the problem with. That should then find you the correct page.

I suspect that Paulo Leeds had simply found his man on the index to FindMyPast, so wouldn't be able to see any other names on the same page unless he had a subscription
