I am trying to find out if the person buried in Heilly Station Cemetery Mericout Labbe is my husbands Gt Uncle
The information I have is H Hoggarth Kings Own Royal  Lancaster no 18557 Died 1916 What I need to know is the Christian name

His medal card says Harold.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Thank you BumbleB and MaxD I got the information about the War Graves on Find my Past but as I hadn't his christian name i wasn't sure I had the right person .MaxD where did you find the info about his effects please
