Hi, An article in the North Devon Journal dated 22.4.1945 states the above gentleman was granted a decree nisi at Devon Assize. Does anyone have access to this record to see if it says anymore than that.

The version I found gives the date as 22 November 1945 and reads

Jmaes Henry Roberts, at present serving in the Army, formerly of the Crown Hotel, Ilfracombe, was granted a Decree Nisi at Devon Assize on Friday.
