Mill Overseer

If this is the family in 1861, Daniel Jnr is 3, rather than 1:

386/A 11/ 12 Muthill Perth

Daniel 32
Catherine 24
Peter 6 FISHER Peter 1954 386/A 30 200 Muthill
Ann 5  FISHER Ann 1855 386/ 66 Muthill
Daniel 3  FISHER Daniel 1857 386/ 67 Muthill
William 1 FISHER William  1859 386/ 89 Muthill

The 1871 328/B 2/ 1 Ardoch Perth, same except for no Ann and addition of:

John 5 FISHER John 1866 386/A 12 Muthill

1881 328/B 2/ 1 Ardoch Perth, addition of James 7 and a Daniel 2, no father.

On the 1891 328/B 2/ 9 Ardoch Perth, both Daniel’s are shown as Donald. I’m thinking that the 2 year old on the 1881 is Donald and the Donald on the 1891 is your Daniel at age 31.

Please note I am only seeing the indexes on SP and not the census pages.

If they followed the naming pattern, this could be the birth of Daniel Snr:

FISHER Daniel PETER FISHER/JEAN PHILP FR4283 (FR4283) 13-12-1829 644/1 320 629 Glasgow

His death:

FISHER Daniel 52 1881 328/B 4 Ardoch

Two possible births for Catherine:

DRUMMOND Catherine PETER DRUMMOND/ANN MCULLOCH FR732 (FR732) 13-9-1836 386/A 30 166 Muthill

DRUMMOND Catherine  JAMES DRUMMOND/JANET COMRIE 18-7-1836 386/A 30 102 Muthill

Her death:

FISHER Catherine 62 1899 328/B 5 Ardoch

I can’t see a marriage between David Edwards and Margaret Stewart/Stuart.

I was wondering if this is Catherine’s birth given that her marriage is listed as St Peter:

EDWARDS CATHERINE URQUH 1871 282/1 779 St Peter

I can’t see a marriage between David Edwards and Margaret Stewart/Stuart.

JJ,

They would not have been married which is shown by...

"Margaret Stewart since married to George Smith"

The absence of 'MS' tells us her 'maiden' surname is/was Stewart.

Possible marriage?

SMITH GEORGE
STEWART MARGARET
1875
573/ 112 Paisley Burgh (Renfrew)
