Charles Littlejohns and Caroline Dunford - Plymouth 1831

I have Charles Dowty Littlejohns born 1809 in Plymouth to Edward and Temperance Littlejohns

I can't find anything for Charles after that date apart from a possible marriage in 1831 in Plymouth St Charles to Caroline Dunford.

Then they seem to disappear, I can't find any marriage or locate a death or census entry for either of them to confirm if it might be him.

Any ideas?
