Hi, according to the 1851 census Edward Edwards aged 50 occ Gentleman born Bramford Suffolk. His wife Eliza nee Brewer aged 37 born alveston suffolk. Can anyone please determine the parentage of either or both parties please. I found Bramford on the map but not Alveston, not in Suffolk anyway.

Hi maybe the age of 37 was transcribed incorrectly and should b c 47 , as in 1861 an Eliza Edwards 56 Widow occ House Keeper b Bramshott is at what looks like the same address as 1851 with two of her daughters.

Hi could Bramshott be Ramsholt, as an Eliza Brewer was baptised 25th May 1804 All Saints, born 19th March p.b Recd 8th May Father Samuel Mother Mary late Pettit

Hi Keyboard86, does Edward appear with Eliza in 1841 and if so what is his occupation please, as in 1851 it's just Gentleman.
