Family Tree Live is a big new family history show taking place in London in April 2019 in the iconic venue of Alexandra Palace. Take a peek at the video here:

There will be a dedicated stream of DNA talks in the DNA Hub. There will also be DNA workshops and an opportunity to Ask the DNA Experts.

Serious question though: Is it the intention to upload some, all or none of the lectures to the web as has been done in the past by similar exhibitions.

James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.
