Yes exactly - Jean Christopher's information has all been the LDS so highly possible that it is all incorrect.

Two of William's sons - John Walter and Michael served in the Irish Constabulary, then later were in the police in Devon, England.  John Walter also served in the Crimean War and then in the police force here in New Zealand. 

The Wildermoth family seems to have a strong military/police background as quite a few descendants also served in World War 1 and one died at Galliopi.

William's military service between 1824/25 is as follows

Jan-July 1825 Co, Tipperary - the regiment was split over several places (it lists 9) doesn't state which particular one he was stationed at

Also has a side note stating that a detachment was deployed to Burr and Caherconclish from 1824 to 1825
Jul-Oct 1825 regiment went to Templemore - doesn't say which county this is in
6 Oct 1825 - 31 Mar 1826 regiment quartered? for Enniskillen.  Also mentions Dublin so maybe some of regiment was once again split?
