Owens
« on: Thursday 08 November 18 14:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi I'm stuck on finding the name I am trying to start with is Arthur Angilo Owens who's father was Alfred.   Arthur had 2 brothers Wilf & Tom and also 6 sisters Edith ,  Rose,  Helen,  Margaret, Hilda and Mary .
I think he was born in Hull and possibly died 1972 ish I am doing this for a dear lady of 81 who knows nothing of her past apart from the above which she found amongst her deceased sisters belongings.   Arthur A ngilo was her father but she has no other info.
He married Kate Sarah Grace Blake whose dad was Joseph and mother Fanney/Fanny Heffey.   Please can any one help.

Thank you in advance

OK so Kate and Arthur married in 1925 in Alverstoke Registration District - no middle name is shown for Arthur.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

From the information you have furnished, then Arthur appears to have been born 2 October 1902, and Kate 28 July 1903.

There is a birth registration in Sculcoates District - December quarter 1902 for Arthur Owens (again no middle name) and mmn is Wood.

:D. Thank you Bumble B.   Weird that she says his middle name is Angilo. I wonder if it was a nickname !!!

It might be a case of purchasing Arthur's birth certificate - the proviso could always be made that he was born 2 October 1902.   :-\

Death for Arthur Owens was, I believe, 1975 in Keighley District.  Kate S G dies 1989 in Keighley District.
