« on: Thursday 08 November 18 15:44 GMT (UK) »
I’ve just seen a tweet from Ancestry UK saying:

“Explore your WWI connection with Free Access to 1.8 billion wartime records this #Remembrance weekend. Use census, military, electoral, occupation, education & parish registers to learn about your ancestors“

Just seen this “new”? Dataset but it doesn’t seem to be available on the free uk weekend ::)

UK, WWI Pension Ledgers and Index Cards, 1914-1923, released from Western Front Association... seems to be on Ancestry.com (US site) but not free

https://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?htx=List&dbid=61588

There are a couple of records on there I have found but cannot view... can anyone check to see if it’s available with a sub or do I need a fold 3 sub too

Austin Langford Creed and George William Burdett

Thanks
