James' WW1 service file lists his mother as next of kin, so perhaps tracing siblings and then descendants is possible?

1928 electoral roll has a Leila Blanche HASTE, spinster, living with James

she married Andrew KIDD in 1936

modified - she died 1994   born 29 December 1899

her parents Mary Louisa and Hedley Vicars

Doris, Alice and Leila were noted on the death notice for James along with 'Mirry'. 

[I hadn't checked their DOB or DOD so didn't post the names.]

Seems like the family liked to play around with names a bit, with James known as Bert.

I don't see any children in electoral rolls so far

No idea who Mirry might be. 

Added - they were all in their 30s when they married. Except Mabel who was 28, so perhaps most chance of offspring there?

James's DOB was listed as 20th February 1895 in the typed Attestation, and 22nd February 1895 in the History sheet.
