This now private online family tree website has the parents listed.
"Hedley Vicars Haste + Mary Louise Moore"

http://www.ourfamilytree.co.nz/

Perhaps contact with the owner might further the search?

James's DOB was listed as 20th February 1895 in the typed Attestation, and 22nd February 1895 in the History sheet.

And 12 feb 1894 on death reg!

Added, and if you do the narrows down thing on the births you get to 12 Feb 1894 for the NR birth

Greetings all.

As initiator and host of this post, I would like to thank you all for your input. I've had two unsuccessful attempts [different accounts] of contacting Wally BILTON, to brief him of your findings.

Not sure it I've been spamed out, or Wally is otherwise engaged. I do have his full address details should a need arise, if he is not responding to those personally supplying info.

Regards,

Alan.

Hey Alan

Just to let you know I intend to follow the Leila lineage, but it won't be until tomorrow.

No reply either to using the email address in the article, but not everyone checks their emails daily.

Had a quick chat with a lovely gentleman (Leila's son) who is James' nephew, and was executor of his will.

Left the details of the article and this thread and hope he and the certificate holder make contact.
