I thought we had ruled out the Michael born 1886.
The father's name is Michael in the mother Julia one, why had you ruled them out?

The father in that one is Patrick. The reason I’m holding onto the 1886 year of birth is because it came from that census, I found that census by it having a Michael Francis in the correct regiment and matching occupation, clerk. It’s the closest thing I’ve got pre 1926.

No the father is Michael O'Brien and mother Julia Murphy.
