Thanks Jim1 that’s great. I am wondering if he did die abroad prior to that date but after 1917 and before January 1922. His is wife’s application shown on the document I posted. Wellington Taid rings a bell in my research somewhere along the line

Thanks again

Nothing to indicate he died during WW1. On saying that his widow is applying for his medals in 1924. She refers to him as her late husband. This is after they had been returned for correction in 1923. It's possible he returned them but died before getting them back.
Her address at the time was 116 Wellington Rd. Park Rd. Dingle L'pool.
His Regts. were 1st. Garrison Battalion R.I.R. with whom he served in Gallipoli hence his 15 Star.
Then Lab. Corps, R.E. & finally Inland Waterways & Docks (R.E.).

Oh nice one jonw65. Soooooo if he did die it’s got to be between say 1920 and January 1922. Her second marriage was to Thomas Berry.
Thanks a bunch.

Nearly forgot!
Two registers in 1921
That was Spring, and the Autumn one is also on there, shows no change.

But they don't have 1922?
