Hi Ladyhawk

No I don't know the occupation of Mary's father.
Mary married John Andrews in B'ham in 1833 and in census after that she gives 3 different birth places,  Dudley, Oldbury and Princes End, all are within a few miles of each other.   Princes End is in Tipton and the baptism of Mary to David and Sarah states she was born in Tipton in 1809.
Mary died in 1885 and is buried at Witton cemetery aged 76.

I'm not sure that David and Sarah are the right parents at the moment so I am trying to link the information together to find the connection.  I've just returned to this brickwall after a few years break.

Thanks
Carol
