I have lost the Cooper family from Lanarkshire

I am looking for the following family who seem to disappear after 1851

Alexander Cooper aged 35 born in Carluke
Elizabeth Cooper aged 39 born Carluke  (Elizabeth Brown Laurie/Lawrie )
Jane cooper aged 5 born in Carluke
Robert Cooper aged 2 also born carluke
Jane Laurie aged 81 born Rox Hobkirk ( 4 x great grandmother)

Piece: SCT1851/629 Place: Carluke -Lanarkshire Enumeration District: 1
Civil Parish: Carluke Ecclesiastical Parish, Village or Island: Carluke
Folio: 674 Page: 5 Schedule: 20

I guess that is possible. I was trying to search on Scotland's People and Freecen but came up empty.
I will try with the Cowper spelling and see where that gets me

I have a cooper born and died 1851 no name. I wonder if mum died then as well??

By 1871 I think this Alexander but David is listed as a stepson  Living at New Bridge End Carluke

Yes that is Elizabeth's death as she was a Laurie/Lawrie.

I have just been on SP and all i got was your search returned no results.
Must be doing something wrong or getting tired. Been trying to find them for 8 hrs.

Are you not finding the death??   

Scotlands People  has the option to search for names beginning with and in this case  for most of the searches I selected this and just put in the christian name and surname beginning with Co in Carluke Lanarkshire so variations come up if there are spelling errors  :)
