Elizabeth had a male child born 19/11/1851. He died the same day and she died 5 days later. So sad  but pleased i found them.

So she was single when married but this was her 3rd child and they have 1 living daughter together.
So the daughter Janet must be their's as well. David must have been her first child.
Hope i read that right.

I think you are reading it correctly and David was the first child - In 1851 he is lodging with John Forrest and family

Thank you for finding my family. This was my Nan's line as she was born a Laurie. She passed away when i was 8.
