« on: Tuesday 13 November 18 14:32 GMT (UK) »
CWGC lists Sapper WR/330092 ,Baird Wilson Reid ,died  August 11 th 1920 and buried in Kingston, Canada. Originally from Rutherglen, Lanarkshire, Scotland. I cannot find a medal card for him.
Would appreciate any information on Sapper Reid ( I have traced his parents) especially his military service.
Regards,
Baird

He appears on the National archives site medal cards as Boyd W Reid 330092, perhaps worth looking under that name on the usual sites

Cathy has it.

His card shows only the British War medal which indicates that although he served overseas he did not serve in a war zone.  His WR/ number is for the Royal Engineer Waterways and Railways  which included railways, docks, inland waterways and road construction.

No other service record appears to have survived.
