George Richardson - birth unknown

Hi, we are looking for information on my cousin grandfather, a George Richardson.
We would love to know where he was from, who his parents/siblings were?

We believe he may have been abandoned on a doorstep in Newcastle, not sure if a sister of the parents?? Could have been born in London but not sure.

Married Patricia Wiseman in 1956 in Newcastle. She died 2015

He had 8 Children.

Died approx 1985 Newcastle/Northumberland area.

What sort of age would he have been when he died?  There are quite a lots of George Richardsons around; you may need to get his marriage certificate for paternal details etc in order to identify him reliably (and if he really was a foundling that may well make tracing his origins very difficult).

NB these dates are quite recent so I'd imagine some of the people you have named are still living?  If so their details will need to be redacted under Rootschat rules.

That George appears to be the only child of a George W Richardson who married a Sarah B Couley in 1931, George W died 1979 and Sarah B in 1994.

Another possibility, not too far away geographically, is that he was a child of the George Richardson/Mary A Lisle marriage in Tynemouth Mar qtr 1932 - George's birth registered Jun qtr 1932 Tynemouth.

Having said that, if he was born on 30 June the birth would almost certainly have been registered in the next quarter.

George Richardson MMN Couley was registered in the March quarter of 1932 so it cant be him if born 30 June

possibly born 23 Mar 1932 who died 1991 in Newcastle

Most realistically we are looking at 3rd quarter - very slight chance of 2nd
