Looking for Rebecca Buck's mother
« on: Tuesday 13 November 18 18:06 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for Rebecca's mum.

Rebecca was born c1830 in Whittlesey.
I have her in the 1841 census living with Dad James and brother William.
Whittlesey St Mary and St Andrew Cambridgeshire
HO107/82/Book 1/Folio 7 Page 8

I am assuming mum has died because dad isn't living with a partner, 1851 - with Rebecca as a lodger, 1861 - workhouse 1871 - workhouse where he dies 1873.

It would be great if anyone could help. I may be missing the obvious.

Burial of an Elizabeth Buck at Whittlesey St Mary, 25 June 1832. Age 42.
Only likely one I can see at the moment.

I am confused now, when I followed the link It says Elizabeth Parsons but when I view the document it also shows James Buck marrying Ann Busby 4th November 1822

Two James Buck marriages!
James and Elizabeth are on the left hand page (16), the middle one of the three.

I saw that one, the other one is on the other page, middle one of the 3.

I think it's just a coincidence that we see there.
But check for other possible marriages, and look out for when James + Elizabeth start having children baptized in Whittlesey.
