Had child Pearl Evevlyn  Davis 6/9/1906 in unmarried mothers home Salvation Army ?
Where do I start my search.

I’m looking at TAS Names Index and I see a will for a Minnie Louisa Davis dated 1970.

The birth I see in 1883, 22 April, Beaconsfield, is for Minnie Isabella Davis, with folks Richard Davis and Elizabeth Adams.

Minnie Isabella Davis had an illegitimate daughter, father Henry Triptree.

There was a maintenance dispute, November 1905, 2nd last column:

Yes Minnie Isobella Davis was born 22/4/1883 Beaconsfield Tasmania
Parents Richard and Elizabeth Adams, as you posted is correct.

I cannot find where Pearl was born,story goes  Minnie went to New Zealand where 2 brothers
lived in Reefton, then returned to Australia Bendigo Victoria with Pearl who was about 5 or 6.
 Did she have Pearl in a Tasmanian Salvation home or New Zealand ?

Claims for Maintenance ---
Henry Triptree, proceeded against by Minnie Isabel Davis for the maintenance of his illegimate child, was ordered to pay 5s per week and also £1.13s Od. The parties resided at Beaconsfield.

Surely the birth registration I posted has to be the right one.  Beaconsfield not far from Launceston.
