Yes, I have searched and Searched before but they totally disappeared!

I don't know anything else, even if they lived there or not.  What is there is all I have on John Lyons Hall.

I waded through all the Canadian Cemeteries, photographed, online.... found one John Lyons Hall but not the one I wanted!

Also.....forget how, but found Eliza Jane's brother marrying in Canada, after thrashing the Internet to death I found him and his wife and children in New Zealand, their descendants there, contacted one who never heard of Thomas and Eliza Jane and were very surprised I had a sister for theirs!

Their ship records show mine didn't travel with them also.

I have search Canadian Census...but will try again using John L etc etc and age at Census.

Believe me.... I have tried going through, over, under and around this brickwall   ;D

I had wondered if they were even in Cumberland Township, given that it's WAY east of Toronto and why they would have moved there after being married in Toronto. Who was the minister that married them?  I know that Rev. Case was in Cumberland during that time period so that information is correct.

Edit:  Found the original marriage. John Jennings was the minister and he was definitely in Toronto at the time.

Yes that is them!   ;D  100%

They then pop up in Cumberland with the Baptism.

Being a Methodist Baptism doesn't surprise me as Thomas Hall's g/father was a Methodist Minister in Ireland.

These are the only 2 sightings of them.

So what took them to Ottawa?  A four-hour drive from Toronto by today's standards?  Who was there -- a member of the family?

So, here's the big question ... how did you know they existed when you first started researching them?
