HI there, struggling at the moment with the cap badge, but the collar badges look like fusiliers, it may be a help if you could post where he was living when the war kicked off or when joined, Sgt. Stripes, he has been in for a while. Yours lowanslow.

Without scrolling down to down to see what other RootsChatters had to say the badge on his right neck seems to be a Fusilier badge. Having said that I am sitting on the fence on this one.
