Haywood - thank you for all this amazing research. re the above marriage entry above - is there somewhere i can see the entry so I can verify the mothers maiden name or should i apply for the marriage certificate? am I missing a source here that gives the mothers maiden name?

GRO gives the mother’s maiden name to 1917

You would have to get the marriage certificate for the details.

shows the event  took place in a ‘Registered Building’ which I think might mean a Register Office.

18i1 census shows older children. All look to have mother’s maiden name of Collins

Hi Heywood - could you help me re above again please? Ive found the 1861 and 1881 onwards census  - but not the 1871 which I am assuming you are referring to above. Reviewing this, that shows the older children with mothers maiden name is critical as it would be clear evidence of the right mother in  the tree. Many thanks
