Charles Christopher Thomas Robinson death?

Hopefully some local knowledge will help find this death.
Charles was born 28/29 Mar 1867 in Deptford. He lived in Rotherhith in 1871/81. He married Elizabeth Emma Vogt in 1889 Camberwell. The family lived 1891 Bermondsey, 1901 Rotherhith and 1911 Lambeth. In 1939 Charles, Elizabeth and son Edward are in Lambeth. Elizabeth dies 5 Dec 1951 Epsom. She is described as the widow of Christopher Thomas and her death was reported by son Edward.
I have checked all deaths 1940-51 under Charles and Christopher. I also searched probate records. I ordered the 1948 Fulham death cert but it does not appear to be my Charles.
Anyone with a suggestion?

Found this on deceasedonline Robinson, Charles Christopher buried 2 April 1943 Lewisham with Freebmd reference March 1943 Lewisham 1d p948 age 67.

I know the age is out by 10 years but that could just be some-one writing that number backwards.  Lewisham seems a bit far away from Lambeth, but it is only six miles, it was war time and they may have moved for safety.

Thanks mirl and rosie. With remaining deaths 1940-50 having dob discrepancies my concern is that his death was not reported by a family member and if the correct cert is found I may not be able to recognize it. Son Edward would have known how old his father was.
